This three-day music, BBQ and CASI chili event will once again be held in Brandenburg Park (adjacent to the Red River Conference Center) in quaint downtown Red River. This weekend is comprised of the Larry Joe Taylor music festival, the Lone Star BBQ competition, the Four Corners Regional CASI red chili cook-off, the State of New Mexico Green Chili Championship, the "open" Salsa Competition and the "open" Chili competition. The fees are as follows: $20 for the first chili or salsa category and $10 for every additional chili/salsa category. All cooks that sign-up and "pay" by August 4, 2012 will receive a $5 discount on their first chili/salsa category meaning the "first" category fee is $15 for those signing up early.
